WELL HELLO NICE PEOPLE’S

Hey guys, remember me? I kind of fell off the blogosphere world here towards years end. For that, I can only say sorry, or you're welcome if you haven't missed the tale's and tribulations of little old me. Whether you like it or not, I'm Back Bitches!!! A new year is here; I'm a tad queer and the numerology is in your pal JB's favor. 2025 adds up to a 9. My age, also adds to 9!!! I also waited until the 9th to send these words of Gold!!! But I ain’t got no OCD, it’s loosely been confirmed. I have included my 25 for 25 for your reading pleasure. I also challenge you to make your own list. 


Aint No Jive, These Are My 25 For

2025!!!

 

·         Goal weight under 216.

·         10,000 steps per day.

·         No Alcohol

·         Add rowing to workouts. (once a week)

·         Add either yoga or stretching to workouts Somatics of some sort.

·         Strength train twice a week. At least 30 minutes.

·         Massage (monthly)

·         Track Food

·         No Shit Food!!!

·         Help with meal planning, shopping, cleaning.

·         Spend more time in Vermont

·         Journal

·         Blog (at least once a month)

·         Continue working on being in moment, practicing meditation or priming in AM.

·         Read 18 books

·         Work to get guys to work well together (Jake, Jake James, Travis, and Joe). (Bi-monthly meetings)

·         Work on adding another management position in office (Alisa and JB to work on)

·         Design garage in Vermont, Re-roof and waterproof existing, finish exterior projects at 417.

·         Get Captains license. 6 pack.

·         Take clients fishing, come up with a good call list for invites.

·         Continue working to make the boat as safe as possible and up to date tech. wise.

·         Find new spots in 100,120,140,150-160, 180 and 240 ranges.

·         Have patience and go early and troll to find new spots.

·         Work on my knot tying skills to be more efficient.

·         Catch a Black Grouper, snowy, wahoo, any bill fish.


Le  Don’t worry, just because I am teetotaler now doesn’t mean I’m a total drag. Honestly, as you'll see in future blogs JB used to enjoy the devils kool aide quite a bit. Let’s make this a great year. I’ll be back soon with the blog post I should have started with. How did the Bennett’s end up in Florida? Until then, Peace and Love!!!

VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR. THE IPHONE KILLED THE REST OF US!!!

Where were you in 1981? I know a couple of my readers were still somewhere inside their future mom’s body. I think, I don’t know. I ain’t no scientist. I do know JB was a rambunctious ten year old building forts, shooting BB guns and playing smear the queer. I know I know queer is not “politically correct” but it’s ok because after fifty four years I am still not quite sure about my sexuality. Much like my sexual curiosity, everything changed in August 1st of 1981 when MTV took to the airwaves. My friends and I became glued to the TV to watch “Video Killed The Radio Star by the Buggles”. The rest was history. Sure we went outside occasionally. But we spent the lion share of our time sitting on my friends couch drinking sweet tea fixated on MTV because we didn’t want to miss if and when a new video was debuted. MAYBE LONG MAYBE GONE!!!

  I think the title says it all folks. May has finally come to an end. By now Floridians should be prepped for hurricane season and the start of feeling that we are living on the surface of the sun. Avid fishing folks should have their boats and gear all tuned up for the American Red Snapper season. Hell, it even appears our friend the daily downpours from nowhere may be back.   And in Bennett’s world it’s the start of the yearly migration of the female folks to the great white north for the summer. That’s right after a two year hiatus, Sandstram is getting to FINALLY get back to her living her best life on the lake in Vermont. Meanwhile, Bryce will be running shit at Camp “Hakuna Matata” a third of mile up the lake. More than likely this we be the last summer Bryce will be shaping young women’s lives at camp since internships and life will more than likely get in the way.
